David Petfield
David Petfield, President and Founder of Petfield & Associates, brings decades of hands-on experience in Accounting, Bookkeeping, and tax preparation.
He earned his undergraduate degree in Accounting from Pace University in Pleasantville, NY, graduating in 1985 — first in his field of study, with Summa Cum Laude honors and induction into the National Honor Society. He was also active in a variety of collegiate athletic programs during his time there.
In 1984, prior to graduation, David joined IBM Corporation in White Plains, NY, where he spent five years in a series of accounting and financial analyst roles, building a strong foundation in corporate finance.
Drawing on that experience, David founded Petfield & Associates in 1990, growing it into a respected and trusted provider of Accounting, Bookkeeping, tax, and Family Office Services throughout the region — including bill paying, budgeting, and rental property financial support, brought with the same accuracy and attention he applies to every business he serves — a reputation the firm continues to build on today.
