About the President:

David Petfield, President and founder, has accumulated over 38 years of accounting, bookkeeping and tax preparation experience. David graduated in 1985 with an undergraduate accounting degree from Pace University in Pleasantville, NY.  In addition to graduating number one in the accounting program, he also earned Summa Cum Laude honors.  He was also a well-respected member of the national honor society.  David also found time to participate in a wide variety of athletic programs that were offered by the university.  In 1984, A year prior to graduating, David was offered and accepted employment at IBM Corporation in White Plains, NY.  While at IBM, he held various accounting and financial analyst positions.  After excelling at IBM for 5 years, David felt the desire to brake out and open his own practice, thus Petfield & Associates was formed.  Since 1990, David has built Petfield & Associates into a very well-respected and top-notch bookkeeping and accounting firm.
